Firdaus Ang’s #RTM

Hi there! Welcome back!

Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

— Oscar Wilde.

Hello everyone. Firstly, I would like to apologies if my English is not up to par. English was not my strongest subject and hence my poor English. The reason why I created this blog is so that I could take a step back in my journey and realize what I really am doing wrong or if I feel like giving up. Basically, this will be my How, Where, What, Why, When and my Who. I do not like to keep my post long so I’ll end it here. Cheers!

#Self-Discipline

Sorry for the long ghosting. Today, I learnt the most important lesson of my life which is self-discipline. You see, I’m a very lazy person, therefore, the lack of updates and my progressiveness. I learnt that it does not matter if you already have a goal, you will still have no progress. What matters most is self-discipline. I feel like everyone must have this quality in them and to do that is actually quite simple.

Self-Discipline can be achieved with a few factors:

  1. Reasons behind your activity, for example, your parent passed away and you are the sole-breadwinner of your family. You obviously do not want to let your family suffer therefore you will work very hard.
  2. Do one thing at a time, for example, during the school holidays, you will work a full-time job, then when school reopens, you’ll have the habit of working so you can just integrate your studies in your life
  3. Pre-planning for temptations, for example, if your friends were to invite you to a party, have a “IF-THEN” technique. If your friends were to invite you to a party, then you would tell them that you have to tutor your younger sister.

Self-Discipline is all about will power and I find that the 3rd point is very useful if comes a time when your will power is lowered and you just want to do your own stuff. This is where the 3rd point will be the most crucial.

#Setting Goals

Hi everyone, as you can see, I’ve already make changes to the title. Instead of the traditional “#Day 1”, I realize it will be easier for both me and you to know about the content of these blog instead of the days. Do expect some changes once in a while as these blogs are about personal development. HAHAHA!

Anyways, back to my topic. Becoming a Millionaire is easier said than done. Besides, this is a very big goal, people would be easily intimidated. But what makes it easier for us to take our very first step is setting goals and its deadline. This would really push and motivate you to make your very first step and so far, its already making a huge positive impact on me. I have set my goals related to my previous post.

  1. Learning how to program in 3 years while pursuing other stuffs

#Day 2

This is going to be the basic of the basic. What makes a Millionaire, a millionaire? I did some research and the easiest one to follow would be:

  1. Focus on increasing your income (Investing & Side hustling)
  2. Increasing streams of income ( 3 streams minimum)
  3. Upgrading skills & knowledge (High income skills e.g. programming)

#Day 1

My body clock is getting worst now. I slept at 1300 hrs and woke up at 2000 hrs. I already felt lazy to do start my very first day as this is all hard work. Anyways, to start my 1st day write, I need my reasons to become a Millionaire. I wrote some, and I felt like it would suffice. Reason being that I would like to be my own boss. This is really advantageous to me as I can work or not to work when I felt like it. Hehehe!
